Welcome to Southwestern Colorado! Residing beneath towering mountains and prelapsarian forests lies our captivating town of Durango. Located near the San Juan National Forest, which contain eight mountain peaks that rise to elevations of more than 14,000 feet, we’re one of the highest towns in the United States. We’re famous for our outdoor activities: skiing, snowboarding, biking, hiking, fishing, rafting, and kayaking! In addition to that, we’re well
known for the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, which travels through the heart of the Weminuche Wilderness, one of the most pristine mountain ranges in the United States. We are a historical town that was at the forefront of western expansion. Our diverse environment provides entertainment for all ages and backgrounds. Interested in playing a game of bridge?
